Five Star Shellfish Inc.

Five Star Shellfish Inc. is a raw molluscan shellfish processing facility that processes oysters, quahaugs and hard shell clams for export into both the Canadian and the United States Marketplace. Five Star Shellfish Inc. went into operation in 2001 and is currently owned and operated by Wyatt, Gordon and the late Troy Jeffery of Christopher’s Cross, PE. Five Star Shellfish Inc. has a full time/seasonal staff of 15 to 20 people.

Our Company takes great pride in the quality and safety of finished product we provide and guarantee to our customers. We harvest our shellfish daily from the clean, pristine waters of our own lease sites that we carefully manage all year round.

Five Star Shellfish Inc. operates under the Quality Management Program and provides food safety assurance through stringent HACCP Controls and regulatory standards and is regularly audited by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

All of us at Five Star Shellfish are dedicated to sustainable harvesting and preservation of wild fish stocks and as such have developed and operate numerous aquaculture leases for the breeding and growing of oysters.

Our Facility

Our Head Office and Main Processing plant are located on a section of Milligan’s Wharf in the beautiful Conway Narrows area of Prince County, PE.

Our History

Five Star Shellfish Inc. is a family-owned operation that went into production in 2001. The business is owned and operated by brothers Wyatt, Gordon and the late Troy Jeffery of Christopher’s Cross, PEI.

The boys come from a fishing family and are very proud of their full-time  and seasonal staff of 15 – 20 people. It just goes to show what hard work and family can do over 17 years.
